District 2 Sports Gretna Hawks Team Camp

Thanks to Coach DeMichael Lee for coming on the podcast on such short notice. Was an awesome conversation about his tenure at Gretna, playing in the Dogwood for Altavista, and the Gretna Team Camp on Friday and Saturday.

The team camp Coach Lee put together is top notch. We're talking non-stop action from 8am Friday morning until Saturday night. 20 teams are participating and of those 20, 14 made it to the postseason this past year. 3 of those made it to the state tournament. We know we are 5 months away from the season starting up, but we can't help but get excited for all of the talented players and coaches.

We hope Some of the kids that we have covered in our prospect videos and our end of the year District 2 All-Stars will be present, but maybe playing some AAU ball . Keep an eye out for these players this weekend;

Great event being put on by Gretna Community. Will be action at BOTH Gretna High School and Gretna Middle School. 

District 2 Sports will be in attendance. We hope to talk to a ton of coaches and athletes throughout the days. Don't be afraid to come say hey. We hopes to make some videos and make an episode of all the interviews.
